I have been a follower of Christ since I was young. I grew up in church and always took my faith seriously, however, it wasn’t until college that my faith was challenged. I held onto my faith despite the intellectual and personal challenges that college life presents and credit must go to my friends and family in helping me with this.
I am currently a Masters in Applied Economics Student at UNC-Greensboro and considering a PhD in Public Policy or moving into the job market when I finish. In my first year of study I have very little time for much else but try to make time for a little play on my XBox 360 and to watch sports.
As a result of having lived so many places I’m a bit schizophrenic when it comes to my sports teams. In baseball I like the Atlanta Braves, in football Penn State and the Philadelphia Eagles, and in basketball the Carolina Tarheels. The NBA is just a bunch of overpaid wimps that don’t play defense.
I was born in Virginia and lived there the first six years of my life, I then moved to just outside Philadelphia and lived there for seven years. I moved again to Wilmington, NC when I was 13 and lived there until 2009 when I moved to Greensboro to pursue my Masters degree. I am a graduate of both Topsail High School and the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a degree in Business Administration majoring in economics and finance.
